JD Bondurant an accomplished affordable housing finance executive with more than two decades of experience leading multibillion dollar multifamily portfolios and high performing teams. As Managing Director of Rental Housing at Virginia Housing, he oversees strategy across loan originations, tax credits, servicing, compliance, construction oversight and asset management. In this role, he collaborates with developers, government entities, industry partners and legislators to advance statewide housing priorities.
Previously, Bondurant led Virginia Housing’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, directing the allocation of significant federal and state resources that supported thousands of affordable housing units. His leadership drove major policy and program innovations that strengthened the availability and long term viability of affordable housing across the Commonwealth.
